Meet the Doc!

Dr. Genthe grew up in Black Earth and has built his entire career right here in our community. After completing all of his medical training locally, he now serves with UW Health in the Emergency Department and as a physician with UW Med Flight.

In his new role as Medical Director for District One EMS, Dr. Genthe is committed to more than just oversight—he looks forward to training with our providers, responding to calls in the field, and working side-by-side with our crews to strengthen the care we deliver.

His vision is to help build the strongest safety net possible for patients and families in our community, ensuring that when emergencies happen, our team is prepared to respond with skill, compassion, and excellence.
