Rescue 28 is a 2019 Demers Ambulance built on a Ram 5500 chassis. Equipped with 4-wheel drive. Rescue 28 also has a height adjustable liquid spring suspension.
Rescue 28 equips with a Stryker Powered Stretcher and Power-Load system.
To aid our EMS Providers in providing efficient evaluations and care to our patient; they're equipped with the new LIFEPAK 35 for continuous cardiac monitoring, automatic assessment of vitals, and AED functions. All information can be transmitted to receiving emergency department.
StatPacks carry our trauma and medical supplies.
Our Advanced EMTs are supplied with IV Fluid Warmer and their "First-In Bag" that carries IV Supplies, IO Supplies, and additional medications for their scope of practice.
LUCAS - a Mechanical Chest Compression device to aid our EMS Providers in cardiac arrest incident.
A special piece of equipment - EKO 500 Stethoscope, an electronic stethoscope allowing to amplify sounds and noise cancellation in noisy environments. Allowing our providers to hear and record lung and heart sounds.
Toughbook tablets are provided to our crews to assist in patient charting. Charting system is used universally throughout Dane County - ELITE.
